VX supercharger
Just bought a second hand supercharger kit off a commodore to put in my vx came with ecu etc, just wondering if its going to damage a stock motor?

what did you get in this kit?
to put the blower on, youll need either l67 heads or a manifold to suit the charger and an ecotec
injectors are a must also
with a good tune the bottom end should hold up fine to stock boost of 6-7psi
Supercharger, ECU, Fuel rail & injectors, Alternater, Throttle body & intake, airbox & air duct, pulley tensioner with cooling line & 2 belts
I don't know the exact figures but the supercharged models ran a lower compression. I think the L36 (ecotec) had about 10:1 while the L67 (supercharged) has 8.5:1.

well youll need the balancer to run the puller to start with from memory theres a few extra pulleys
that the pully setup as standard..
so you dont have the valley?
i got the extra pulleys but i think i need to get the manifold for the s/c to sit ontop?
thats right mate... you can either get a valley thats made to bolt to ecotec heads or just get l67 heads
personally id go with getting a whole top end from a l67
do you know where i can get l67 heads from melbourne?
