Post your painted dash pics

Hey guys. looking to paint my dash the same colour as my car. just wondering before i go through with it if any other colours appeal to me.

why not adjust the colour in photoshop and see what you think? I did that with my car before I painted mine, and it was quite weird because the colour I had in photoshop was almost exactly the same as the colour I painted it, so it was almost as if I had already taken a photo of it finished before I'd actually done it.
If you don't know how to do it all you need to do it take a photo of your dash, prefferrably from the back seat so as to get all of your dash in, then select the dash, deselect the air con controls, radio, dash cluster etc, so that you're only left with the parts that will be coloured as the part being selected. Then you desaturate the image (ctrl+d), then you click on Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation, check the checkbox for Colourize, and then play with the sliders until you get a rough idea of what each colour will look like. Very simple and quite an accurate representation and what the final product would look like.

I like the glossy finish you got. Did you just use lots of clear coat, or did you sand back between coats too?

3-4 coats of clear

1. quick sand
2. clean it
3. paint it 3-4 coats
4. clear it 3-4 coats
5. let it dry for the night
