    Default Level Ride Fuse

    Hey,

Just checked my fuse box and noticed my Level Ride fuse and relay are missing. I did some googleing and found out it makes the car lower..?

Is this true and is it doing my car any harm leaving the fuses out? Or should I get some and put them in?

    Cheers,
    Chris.

Rofl -- Never mind you have a VX S Pack as far as i know they dont come with level ride, So no fuse.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Doesn't make the car lower.

Level ride Jacks the rear of the car to stock height when weight is applied to the rear. Eg. towing, Heavy loads in boot.

However if you fit lowered springs without Changing the shocks (Like the morons who lowered my car), you will have issues with the level ride.
I Run with my fuse out and all it does it sit at stock height for the springs. if you have stock springs in it will make no difference.

It could also be missing if you have aftermarket rear shocks?

If you do have air shocks its worthwhile to put the fuse back in as it destroys the shocks running with no air in them.
Im lucky holden keep replacing mine :-)

I wouldn't have a clue if I have standard shocks or not. I have stock FE2 springs so I'd say I'd have stock shocks.

I too doubt that you would have level ride, it's more of a Statesman, Caprice, Grange option, but it could be installed in a Commodore as an option I suppose. The compressor that runs the level ride is quite noisy, so I'm sure you would have heard it at some stage and said, what the hell is that noise.

Ok, I just saw the spots for it in the fuse box today and wondered if they were supposed to be empty. Thanks.
