    Default VX Coolent Change

    Hi Guys.

Yes I have been all over the forum researching on how to change the coolent in a VX Commodore. But After 2 hours of reading im gettig tired lol.

Ok, So Just want to Clean it Out. What is the best Way. Remove Hoses and Flush out with the Hose i guess? Main Question is, Since the VX Over Flow tank is under Gards in the front left side, and requires a Dip stick for level check, What is the best way to remove coolent from it? And how much coolent does it take? Since cooling is improtant i dont want to screw it up lol

    Cheers.

Yes I remove the hoses and flush the system like you said. As for the reservoir I am not aware of any other way other than syphoning it with a small clear rubber tube, then fill it with clean water and repeat a few times. Don't forget to bleed the air out of the cooling system when you're finished.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
