    Default yes another diff Question vy ute to vx sedan

    i just bid on a LSD 3.07 diff from a yv v6 ute to put into my v6 vx and i didnt think about the IRS before hand. ok this is going to sound stupid but i no nothing about utes so do they have IRS? will this diff fit do i need to change any thing? please help

    VU utes onwards have IRS. As for it fitting, not totally sure.

    im not too sure but if you think bout how the diff bolts into the late model commos... the whole center unit bolts to the tailshaft and axles which should be in the same position as a sedan then you just have the top rubber diff mount i dont see why a ute diff would be any different from a sedan one

    99.9% sure it should fit... I know a diff from a HSV VY Coupe fits on a VX sedan so I can't imagine that they would have produced a special diff for utes.
