im wanting to know if this is possible to do and if it is whats involved in doing this?
Yes it is possible you can get the full VE style body (Clubsport) kit to fit a VT for $700 on ebay in gel coat ready to paint

yeh i was going to get that kit, but i thought if it was possible id change my front end cause i love the ve headlights aswell as the kit
Definitely possible, i don't think you would get the front VE guards on the VT though you would have to modify the Standard guards and fiberglass the shape of the VE lights into them. Ot cut up a bit of both guards.
The lights will also need to be rewired into the plug.
It would take time, money and effort to get it looking good i just say get the kit and get some nice black altezza to with it or SS ones.

if u do it u better post pix
of course id put pics up :P. im really thinking of doing it. just want to know whats involved in doing this conversion. what parts i need etc.
personally.. and this is only my opinion which i know many wont agree with coz its the lazy way and all that... but the time, effort, and money it would take to get your vt looking like a ve.. i'd rather save up for an actual VE coz then youd have the interior and all the other upgraded features
but then again, maybe the vt interior is your fav of them all, and you like the ve so perfect combo!
well i love the ve front, but i love the VT back (with the monaro tail lights and garnished removed). and im just picturing the 2 going together and i think itd look good, plus it will be one of a kind :P. besides the obvious parts i.e front bumper, side fenders, bonnet, lights. what else would i need to do this conversion?
is the reinforcement bar the main thing to do this conversion? and the rest just goes in hand by hand if u get what im saying?
or would it be easier to do a vz front bar?
vz would be allot easier as you can put vz fenders on your car
-Smit
would i still need vz bonnet, and reinforcment bar??
Anyone who wants to know what a VE front looks like on a VT, go to the Street Commodores magazine, issue 155 (July 2009), page 151.

and why wouldnt the VE fenders fit on the car??
because the VE is a complete different body design whereas the VZ uses the same basic body as the VT. there is a VT in adelaide with a VZ calais front. it looks ummm..... well each to their own i guess![]()
^^^ Because they are off a completely different car...
Like trying to put fenders off a of a VT on say... a VK... not going to happen...
The VT - VZ are the same car basically with slight body changes... a VZ front will bolt onto a VT without much issue...
A VE front onto a VT... your going to have some fun with that... so if you know what your doing go for it... but if you're expecting a bolt on job... think again.
so the vz is basically a straight swap onto a vt?? no need to change the reo bar and bonnet and things?? of course i didnt think VT to VE would be a straight bolt on i new i would have to change everything but just wasnt sure about the side fenders thats all.
if i do the vz swap id put the ve clubsport front end that fits the vz, cause i think it looks better cause the vz has simillar headlights to the ve whereas the vt has completely different ones.
VZ front is just covers really. Like you can stick a VR front on a VP. Just grab all the guards bonnet front bar lights and they will drop on. Rear is another story. People do it all the time with Wagons.

With the VR front on a VP. I remember a little cut of the rad support ?. But with VT-VZ they really should be identical. Even though Holden will tell you they are not.
But just so you don't waste your money on it, We will see if anyone else comes forward with some pics and how too just to be sure.
Just to ad what i found.. This is going on a Monaro S1. A guy converted his front to VZ, And said this.
He also said it wasn't cheap.I did the conversion on my Monaro a couple of years ago , the monaro ( even your model ) is actually VT sheetmetal with a different front bumper. To convert to VY or VZ front you need to replace everything forward of the winscreen ie bonnet , guards, lights, front bumper, wiper panel , side skirts etc.

thats what the guy who did it to his said.it was me selling tha parts and they have all been sold. I was converting my vt to vz front ...
vt onwards all fits straight on as the cars are the same... although if you want to put vy onwards parts on you also need bonnet hinges and the windscreen cowl which u can get from holden easy. here is what it looks like when finished
so im gussing everything fits without moding anything.
