traction control light on dash not working... except for the fact that it is working

i just don't know whats wrong ladies and gents.

i purchased a lvl 3 (i think you guys call it) cluster and installed it in the monaro, got it recalibrate, everything is fine except the bloody traction control light doesn't come up!!. traction goes off - no light, but if i test the cluster(using the mode and up button) it lights up.
it is functional, just does not working when it is meant to................. someone please help, it is so confusing.

I know with the older models, the lights were in different positions. This might be the problem, and the cluster doesn't know that the traction light is in that position?

maybe, i have no idea, "power" works, "low trac" works, "trac off" doesn't come on when activated but does when in test mode. thanks mate
