    Default Inspecting A VX SS

Ok Im off to inspect a couple of VX SS's in the comming days, One is a Series 2 the other is 1, both manual trans LS1's, both come with RWC.

Its pretty much occured to me that I dont know a whole lot about them as far as things to look for when Im going to take a quick look at one. I know the basics, just not model specific things i should be looking for.

I know on the series 1 I should be looking for camber issues but thats about it.

Could anyone give us a couple of things I should be looking for?

Check the clutch definitely, the clutches are well known for being farked. My mate got one with a farked clutch and the sales ppl wouldnt replace it as they are quite expensive.

    Hey Mate,

Abit of topic here, but are you going to be inspecting one at Wallan by any chance?

    Cheers

Well, leak probably isn't the right word. More like a weep.

Was going to start a similar thread because I`m going to be in the market soon for these, my main question is how does the ECU errors appear on these eg... on the VR/VS you get the orange ! check engine light, so what does the VX/VY do.
also I heard of bearing going in LS1`s at about 80k is this true, oh and what was the big recall from holden for.
