Yeah there is no such thing.

Your cam timing might be out, Your electronics could be all ballsed up, but it's will be extremely hard to tell from this side of the ocmputer.

Pinging can be 2 things - 1 is simply a mechanical sound, something touching on something else. The other is 'Pinging' as in pre-ignition where you timing gets over advanced, and the fuel air mix spontaneously ignites before being set off by the spark plug. Pre-ignition is bad and will destroy engines.

If it's a mechanical sound, theres no way to tekll from here what it is.

If it's pre-ignition, you have to look at timing and fuel. A mixture way too lean will pre-ignite, so will dosgy timing. Alot of things can cause these symptoms.

I think you mean "balance shaft"? This runs above the cam in a seperate cavity and they are known to get a rear bearing fault sometimes. Only way to know is to remove the intake manifold and have a look around

There are two places to check on the coil packs. Primary and secondary.

    Primary - Between 0.3 to 1.5 Ohms.

The coil pack must be unscrewed and you will see underneath where you can
test. You may need pins and alligator clips to test.

    Secondary - Between 5,000 to 7,000 Ohms

This is on top of coil pack where spark plug leads connect too.

One of my coil packs was faulty reading 0 Ohms. Hope this helps in some way

It's behind the balancer on the right of the crankshaft snout between that and the aircon. Balancer off job and two studs later it will be off the block

Clogged injector ? not sure with LPG. Clogged injectore in a petrol ingine can mean too lean a burn in one chamber, which will ping / miss.

Now that I think about it, a stuffed injector will cause a miss in 'too much flow' situations too.
