you want 2.25 or even 2 up to the cat cause it makes more back presure and creates more power

TWIN 2.5" is huge for an (i'm assuming) stock Ecotec mate. You will most likely lose more power than you will make.

Single 2.5" is fine. If you want the twin tips for the look, just get them to dummy up a pipe with a tip on it for the other side.

Twin? I still wouldn't even put a twin 2.25 on it. Single 2.5" is pretty sweet.

i have pacemaker headers, twin cats that go into muffler just before diff then into single over diff into resinator, all is 2.5, was told it wasnt possible to go twin exhaust coz there is no exhaust well to go other side of fuel tank, unless ur pocket is really deep!!!

That's pretty much the exact set up i would go on a 3.8^^^^^ I had the same on my old V6, except it was single from the cat. Sounded alright as far as a V6 went too.
