vt abs and gearbox problems

Our series 2 xu6 has the normal indicators of a stuffed abs control module ie abs trac off low trac lights on and sometimes check engine and oil light come on and temp gauge dont work

but since going on a dyno about 2 weeks ago every now and then all the lights are out bar the check engine and the gear box will only operate in 2nd and third gear anyone got any ideas?
ive tried to check fault code but it wont bring any up.

as this is a supposedly common thing for vt's you would think atleast one person would offer advice. but all good fixed now.

If you tell us what was wrong with yours next times someone asks the same question we can then offer advice.
I have only seen your thread for the first time today but I would have said that your ABS module might be faulty or there was a bad connection at the ABS module.
Reading the fault codes won't reveal any problems with the ABS. From memory I think if you disconnect the wiring plug at the abs module and the oil light goes out, then the module is the problem.

it was just the abs control module but even unplugged ALL lights stayed the same and the box still only got 2nd and 3rd.

ok abs fixed but problem resurfaced with the box, checked error codes and got a code finally which was 82 which is the 1-2 shift solenoid so its booked in to be fixed ill post up the outcome.

hey only new here but had same problem with my vt it was the 1st 2nd and 3rd and drive solenoids in the box its self
