what diff gears are most appropriate for a vu?
im thinking either 3.45 or 3.7 for my vu v6 auto but i dont want to much fuel consumption, what would be most appropriate for performance and cost? i also have a exhaust and hi flow cat and pacemaker exctractors, growler cold air intake, corvette shift. if i change the diff gears do i need to tune it as well?

what type of driving do you mainly do? Highway or city, loaded up or empty?
mostly city driving but i do some freeway driving. na empty tray,

A higher ratio will give you better acceleration, which will be more usefull for city driving and probably won't affect fuel use.
If you've not tuned it after you put on the exhaust, etc, then you ought to. Just for the diff gears, it's not nessesary (sp).
so you think i should just get it tuned now or after i get my gears and just do it in one hit? whats your opinion on what gears i should get. 3.7's more favorably?
