question on vt heater control globes!

hey all tonight when i was using my heater i noticed on the 2 knobs where all the direction of air flow pics where there suppose to light up and illuminate the globes are gone behind the heater control, my question is is it worth buying the whole heater control off ebay for $30 and using the globes off that since ive heard there a major rip off from holden dealers? Is it a big job taking the vt heater control out and replacing globes? Thanks for ur time and opinions!

definantly ebay it mate, $30! it could be way worse. i was at the spare parts department at a holden dealership the other day. An unsprayed vt boot lid was $500, replacement mud guards (those gay little moon shaped things at the bottom of the wheel arch) "$200 fully installed" i could train a monkey with down syndrome to install them. Stay away from them mate unless your wallet is too heavy.

I think it'll b a hit n miss on ebay, it will definatly b cheaper but since its out of the car u wont know if the globes have been blown already from slight bumps n knocks which they r prone 2 doin.

If u can get me a pic of ur heater control circuit board or even a pic of ur globes (since there r 3 types) i have 1000s of spare globes from dash conversions u can have.
