    Default vt help cooling

    Hi I have a 2001 vt 5.7 a4 and my coolant keeps evaporating and drains from the hose on the top of the coolant tank i have to refill every week i mix about 60% water and 40% coolant it that the problem or what please help

    it has to be leaking somewhere mate, its a sealed system it cant just evaporate

    Is it actually draining out of the overflow tank?
    If its not working, you're not hitting it hard enough.

    Most likely your cap is stuffed, or you have a leak somewhere, fill it, get it hat and see if you can see any leaks or water marks anywhere.

    Im heading outside tomorrow to change my radiator on VT SS 5.7. Has small crack in passenger side tank of radiator so grab a torch and have a good look at yours. Mine is near the fan mount. So yeah as the guys have said, its going somewhere, so look for the coolant staining.
