hey,
I have a vt calais with a weird problem the warning light on the dash to say a brake/parker globe has blown is on although all the lights work fine,
just recently changed the passenger side rear tail light loom as the old one had broken, i now have the revised design style with red plastic for brakes and yellow plastic for idicator and all brand new globes but still the light stays on...
Anyone know how to make it go away or why it would still be there?
Thanks in advance![]()
could be a broken or loose wire in the warning signal circuit ?
Have you changed the bulb type?
If you have installed LED type globes, they would cause a problem with the current sensing for the blown bulb circuit.

Does it only do it when the headlights are on ? this is what my statesman used to it drove me nuts trying to fix it ,I replaced every globe and it was still there
until I replaced the rotors and pads and it went away for a couple of weeks and then it was back again ,I notice it would only come on when the pedal was depressed past a certain point ,so I screwed the brake light switch above the brake pedal in all of the way and this fixed it ,but this will make the brake lights come on a second or two later ,but they still work under normal brakeing
No tried that everything was working
its ok i worked out how to get rid of it, i did a big reset i left the battery disconnected for an hour put it back together and now its gone... Its been a few hours of driving and so far so good
Hopefully this helps everyone else to..
