Default Instrument cluster odoerr BigTime Help needed.

I have odoerr showing up and car wont start. Bought as is not running. Got fuel, spark, and cranking, not firing though, coughing at best as if timing is not happening. Replaced cas, dfi module and coils. Could faulty instrument cluster be the cause of engine failing to start. If it is an earth connection amiss what do I check for? Can I replace instrument cluster with one from wreckers to get out of problem or is oddo distance stored elsewhere. help!

I dont think it is getting gas, gas switch not showing activation on dashboard. I'll check but it is getting petrol, plugs are wet with fuel...Another consideration, the stereo has been removed, on one connector plug wires have been cut, would this affect any grounding or wiring relating back to instrument cluster or ignition starter circuits? Car is 99 vt executive dual fuel... Checked gas and when switched to gas dosent get any, the electric valve on unit not activating, light blue wire with yellow line is not getting power...? any ideas... checked lpg fuse is fine...

where the fuse is for lpg inside car, power on, there is no voltage at contact, looked at back is a pink/blue wire (kL) on both terminal points, on wiring diagrams will connect to ecu, instruments and BCM

the message on the display usually means a serious serial data error, if it has ABS unplug the ABS module & try again, if not you will find the data circuit is shorted to ground or power somewhere.

I've unplugged the abs module and made no difference, have taken out instrument cluster and checked for shorts with multimeter and found nothing..
