20's on a VX SS

Hey guys, first post here on this site, i will put my whole specs and pics of my car when i have the wheels and audio system in.

Just ordered some 20'' wheels and tyres.

But basically, just wondering if there is any major dramas fitting 20's on a VX SS, Couple people i know have 20's on there VX's and they didnt even get there guards rolled, and doesnt rub, But ive heard its a good idea to get them rolled anyway? Is that all i need to do. I wouldnt think it to be to big of a deal since the vx hsv came out with 18's.

245/35/R20 would be better for your car but if you want to get it lowered you might have to run a 225 tyre like i do apparently its dangerous to run a 225 on a 8.5 inch rim but i havent had any troubles with it

If its standard height you shouldnt need to roll your guards but if you run SL's i say you might have to

at the moment, its got King spring Super lows, and 18's on 235's, no worries at all, and seems i got plenty of clearance to go with a 20'' with 235 aswell. how much difference would a 225 make though?

Well you'll get more clearence between to inner and outer of your guards but i've been tolled that streaching a 225mm (8.858 inches) tyre onto a 8.5 inch rim is unsafe but you shouldnt have a problem with 235's with only Super lows

I also have pedders Sports Ryder Struts in the car, but that shouldnt make any difference when it comes to fitting them, just might have to roll the guards. Ive ordered 235/35/R20 with the 20'' rims. I might just roll the guards anyway.
