You'll find there isn't really anything out there which is just a shorter stick, because the stick is integrated into the shifter and not readily separable.

Your only real options are to have a custom unit made up, or chop it yourself (not really recommended).

You may want to consider a quickshifter:

I've got one in my 6psd and there are quite a few lads around here now with them bolted up to the 5spd boxes. Haven't heard a bad review yet.

Billet looks like the way but are about $450 mark

the billet VT-VZ V8 6spd shifter has 3 height settings so that would be your best bet not only do u lower it you get shorter throw shifting

You can't bolt the 6spd shifter to the 5spd box... they are a completely different design.
