Shift Improvement Kit

Hi,

I'm getting some work done at my local auto trans mechanic (mv automatics) and I've decided to get a "shift improvement kit" fitted at the same time.

I'm told it's not a full shift kit, just new servos and they make it shift a little faster and smoother instead of harder.

Has anybody here had anything like this done?
Was it worth it?

I've been in a 5.7 auto VY with this done and it seemed to shift quite well.

iv got a stage 2 shift kit in my vt now and love it, if its shifting to hard you can get it wound down or up, but it realy depends what you want one for i guess?
