v8 CAI into a v6??

and what would go wrong if anything?

The stock intake has enough airflow. You won't gain anything by fitting a CAI....maybe a tad better throttle response, but that is probably more psychological.

Zero power....many people have done this, the only real gain is a bit better highway economy.
