compliance plate codes?

i was just looking at my compliance plate and i read that my engine was a LN3, and my transmission was M35. i thought vt commodores had the L36 engine, and the trans was getrag (im not sure if M35 is getrag or not)??

L36 was a 253 - LN3 is the ecotech 3.8

oh was it?? thanks for that mate , got worried for a second . i looked on some site and it said that the l36 was on vts and the ln3 was on vn's and i was like whats that all about

i found out that the getrag trans is the M35, so thats good then
