    Default PLEASE HELP!!...i think im running rich

    ive had my VT II S pack for nealry a year now....its jsut ticked ova 140,000....its been running perfect till now....it seems like its running really rich....there is no power....the exhaust sounds a lot different now, like really lumpy. all ive got is extractors with 2 1/2" straight thru with a hotdog....and its never ever done anything like this b4. i dont know if its a coinsidence or wat but my mate drove it last night jsut b4 it happened and really gave it to it..mroe then i ever have...could this jsut b a coinsident, or could it of coursed something????

    but to help you out maybe a oxy sensor or as stated plugs and leads

    my mate driving didnt bother me coz i trust him and he has respect for cars
    i got it serviced under 500 km's ago, thats y i really dont know wats going on

    have u got you stock cat in or aftermarket
    VX SS LS1 6sp Manual - 330rwhp ET 13.9sec

    It may be as simple as a lead coming loose.

    Push all the leads back onto the plugs and the coil packs.

    atm jsut stock cats, im thinking of getting high flow cats soon...worth it?? i had a bit of a play with the leads but i guess wouldnt hurt going ova it againy

    Stock cats? You have two cats? Is it supercharged? If it is N/A, the stock cat will be fine. Absolutely no benefit from fitting a hi flow cat to a relatively stock N/A V6.

    It may also have dead plug or even a coil. Do a code check, it's the same as the VR-VS method.

    its all good...i thought it would b something small..my mechanic checked it out today and the msg got passed on to me that it was someting in the ignition, its getting fixed tomorrow so ill get the full details then

    fair enough :S lol howd you come to that conclusion

    IM FIXED!!....my mechanic has done the job, the problem with the DFI module, cylinders 4 and 1 wernt firing properly, but $350 later she is running all sweet, thanks for the help on this one guys
