1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
do you have to hav a vin number to get it??
Yup, they only want genuine HSVs having genuine kits, so best you befriend someone with one![]()
haha looks like i have to find someone who has it![]()
And you will be paying through the absoloute NOSE for it too. Holden are extremely expensive when it comes to buying genuine body parts. I bought a VP GTS grille from Holden spare parts in Ferntree Gully a few years ago for my old car, cost me $160 brand new.
I have heard a VP GTS / VN Group A front bar and rear bar is around about $1800 each. I'd say the VX gear might be slightly more expensive if they have one in stock.

Yeah it was around there. Or something like $5000 or so for a whole VP Senator kit. But yeah you do have to have a valid and genuine VIN number to purchase one. It's good i reckon! Stops people making gay mock ups with real kits. Saves the real kits for genuine cars that get damaged.

guess i mite have to find someone selling a used genuine senator kit
years ago my mate wanted a whole senator kit lights and all and they said near 10k
Yeah but fibreglass is shit. 90% of the kits that are pre made sitting on shelf for sale don't line up well anyway, you get small gaps here and there, and the shit cracks over a few years from general road use. All the vibrations from the road send vibrations through the kit and after a while, develops hairline cracks then it just looks shit eventually.
The genuine plastic kits 99% of the time, line up perfect, and plastic is a fair bit stronger than fibreglass and looks better.

Just putting this out there but really you could just walk up to a car in the street record its VIN and use that couldn't ya?
I thought they would actually need more proof then that.

The bolt-on type kits are cheap because they generally have the quality and fit of a cheap product.
If you guys can get a genuine VX Senator front bar for $1800, consider yourselves lucky. They run to $2400+ from Holden in NZ.
There ya go ^^^.
But the $1800 was for VP GTS / VN Group A bars. I imagined the VX genuine gear was a tonne more expensive. The rarer they are, they more expensive they are doesn't seem to be it in this case.

So basically you want a VZ front and VX rear? **** that's gonna cost you a bit mate. I hope you got the coin! $5200 isn't too bad for a genuine VX kit (as long as it's the WHOLE kit).

thats the front, and everyone should know what the senator rear bar looks like.

by buying the whole kit and painting it is going to cost heaps 5200 for the kit but is that painted?
your better buying a whole vx senator in the long run
thats for it primed not painted, but i got a mate who can do it for like a case of beer so paintings not an issue. the vz front conversion can be cheap if you look right. there a few things u need that u can pick up used for half the price. i think if i look hard enough and find some good deals i can get the hole front conversion ( not the vz clubsport front) for about $1000-1500, most expensive part is the bonnet, but second hand its like 300 bucks, so just gota look around.
i got quoted for the vz front, and it is 2,190 with the mesh inserts, foglights and brackets. i think thats pretty decent price for it
