Hi all
Got in the car this morning and this light come on, its a circle with a exclamation mark in the centre and lines going around the circle. i thought it was the handbrake at first then realised its a differnt light... When i applied the brake it went away for a few seconds then come back. eventually went after a few mins. Is this low brake fluid or brake fail??
Any ideas?
Cheers Frank

It is the handbrake/brake fail warning light. If it lights up when the handbrake is off then it indicates that there is a problem with the brakes. Check fluid level and if that is OK, get your brakes checked.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Sounds like the brake/ parker light fail light?
Maybe one of your globes are blown or on its way out
thats the one! but it went off when the brake was pressed then went away eventually...

I took my car in to get a service and ever since i got it back this light has come on if i hold the brake on for 3-5 seconds or more and then it goes away as soon as i release the brake. any ideas? my tail light also fills up with water on occasion so im thinking the two are linked but as yeat haven't been able to fix the light
If there is no blown bulb and the service place disconnected the battery you will get this warning light coming up - the system has to be reset to learn what the current bulb resistances are. happens only on Calais (and LX Adventra).
I can't find the instructions to reset. Maybe search?
