How hard is it to Replace Auto Gear Shift on a VT/VX ?
and does anyone have some photos how to do it ?

How do you replace the speedo face cos i bought a red one off e-bay.
can you just pull the needle off ?

To answer both of your questions...

I would recommend you get a professional to do these for you. You just dont seem confident enough to use the search function on this forum sorry.

    LOL fair enough.

But honestly I wouldnt recommend you doing these yourself unless your comfident enough and patient.

For your first question refer to this thread.

And for question two. Pull the dash facia out. Undo the two screws on the speedo. Pull it out enough to get your hand behind it to unplug the loom. Unclip all the plastic clips around the speedo removing the entire front cover. Pull the needles off (you can use a fork behind them if their tight)
Then pop the old plastic face off and replace everything in reverse.

    Hope this helps

Always beware when pulling on the wiring loom. Its always tight and not much room there.

One other piece of advice.... Take a photo of your dash cluster before you remove the needles so you can place them back in the same position, otherwise your needles may not read correctly

How is a photo going to help him? lol

The needles only stop at a certain point. pop them back on and where they stop adjust them from there.
