After about a month of waiting, it seems there is no spare engine to replace the one which blown up when it overheated. I've been to various websites but the details are kindy sketchy atm, coz I have to pull all kinds of info from different websites.
Here's the deal.
I'm lookin go for a brand new Ecotec 3.8L v6 supercharged engine. I am only looking for a drop in and straight installation. There are 3 choices of engines for me to replace here in Brunei but they are all second hand engines and i'm dubious of the quality and how they have been treated.
What will be the shipping costs, and what sort of paperwork will be involved for it to be delivered to Brunei?
I love the VX and it breaks my heart to let her sit under the sun with no one taking care of her. Please help JC!
Barry Bourke, in Berwick VIC, apparently have a few left, says one of the latest Street Commodores magazine ads. VY L67 for $4750. 755 Princes Highway, Berwick VIC 3806. 03 9707 2222 or 0417 350 871, worth a try.
But if by Brunei you mean the nation of Brunei, you may well be able to get a L67 from America for cheaper. Shipping will be more expensive but the engine would be cheaper.
