Installing VT Aircon Compressor

I have the compressor... Is this an easy job?

Not hard to do, but you will need to evacuate the system of gas. Legally you can't just let the gas escape into the atmosphere. I recommend you replace the seal where the pipes join the compressor while you're at it.
