    Default What springs for VT commodore

    Hey all, Getting some 18inch HP shadow crome, or fox r5 rims put onto my VT commodore in the next couple of weeks will also need to lower car but dont know what springs to get or where to go to get it done i have been looking at the king springs super low or ultra low, i want the car to sit inline with the low profile tyres so wondering how low i will need it to go and wether it will be legal and also how much will it be aroundabout, I live in syndey northshore so would be great if someone could point me to a good place to get it done. Thanks.

    hey mate just a suggestion but if you go to your local super cheap they sell a full set up for front and rear there brand is driveline (you can do your own research on the brand) but from all reports they arent bad and there a simple bolt in bolt out operation so you can do it yourself and there adjustable so once you throw your wheels on you can adjust them to a height that suits you

    Thanks Jamie that is something i would be looking for would i need to get shocks aswell or would the stock shocks hold.

    Adjustable shocks usually cost a mint, like in the $2K mark. Have you tried hitting up GSLRallySport up, they are a sponsor on this forum and give good prices for members.

    Got mine of ebay for my vt shortend shocks monroe gt sports. king springs SL all for $630 inc delivery to syd eastern subs $140 for instalation inc wheel aliment and $65 for new strut top bushes wich you may not need pretty good deal i think at $835

    I have a series II vx which i've been told has adjustable shocks or something in there?

    Would i be able to use those springs from supercheap without any extra purchases?
