hey all i have a vt series to and when i opend the bootlid behind the garnish is to extra holes to plug in extra bulbs to get the vt valais berlina look, my question is do u buy the looms for the extra lights? and where abouts to u connect em?
where your reverse lights connect, on the connector there are 2 extra cables with it, the 2 extra ones are for stop lights and there is a hole just above where you can put the light in.
If im correct thats what the calais ones have or something, but the cables are already there, all you need to do is get a globe and a holder to fit in.

So the stuff in the picture above is what we need to buy? How much do holden sell them for, got a part number?
Gonna be a mission to do mine, got Dynamat all over that back section of the boot!
I edited the pic, you need the one that has been circled. I don't have a part number
maybe someone else does. I got mine from the wreckers.
whats the little globe for? isnt there 2 large globes?
does anyone have part number for these wiring harnesses? or price? so iam prepared when i go to holden.
From what i've heard it will look shit house unless you have something in that little bit in the garnish to reflect the light...
too right, you need a calais or berlina garnish which has inbuilt reflector, or it will look like a dot/ not even worth it.
i have an exec and swapped my garnish over with a calais one, and it looks great, same lights as lights for number plates. i had also swapped my boot over so i had spare globes holders/globes and wired em in to the number plate lights
I have to say getting those extra globes does make a bloody big difference in appearance to the car..
What about those of us with a HSV rear garnish?
to my knowledge the rear of them would have a hole already cut out if it was designed for a light to be there, if there isnt it a hole probably was the same as exec garnish
EDIT: but usually the lights comes factory if its designed to have them, so unlikely youd see a hole with no light unless some idiots cut it off
