Default Just put car back together, Code 31

I just did my rear main seal, transmission was out and engine was lifted up (not out completely, left wires intact)
Everything is back together, but now car wont crank at all.
I get error code 31 - theft deterrent signal.

But even if I press the button on my remote, the doors unlock so the car is getting the signal but it still gives me that error code.

Anyone have a clue of what could of possibly happened?

    Sure is...

I went through the trouble shooting in the workshop manual for this error code, got to about the 20th test and it said to fix the problem by removing the ignition barrel and fixing up the earth. Then it made me remember i forget to connect an earth in the engine bay (off the harness onto the block)
Connected it up and now all is good.

    Thanks.
