V6 Eco Lighting up the rears

G'day there,

I recently have bought a fully stock VX 2002 Commodore (Auto unfortunately), It has factory fitted (optional) SS suspension and an LSD, im guessing this is probably right, but its near impossible to do a stand still burnout, donuts are easy enough and i can get it to whip the rear out round corners, but it shits me i cant fry up the rears at a stand still, any clues as to what i can do (I know more power would do it) any suggestions? are line lockers a waste of time?

Also lookin to add some more power, any suggestions on methods of relatively cheap power gain? Was lookin at a filters/exhaust, but hate the buring noise the V6 auto makes... Whats a supercharger worth for one of these?
