    Default radiator overflow box

    Hey guys i think my radiator over flow box is cracked how hard is it to remove and what do they cost new ?

    Not hard at all. Not sure exactly but should be a bolt or two if u get under the car where the bottom of the bottle is.
    Just undo those and the hose and itl pull right out.
    Just a ball park figure but from holden i reckon you might be looking round $100 maybe more

    Go to supercheap, its called Plastic Epoxy Welder $17,two part resin ,mix it put it on 4hrs later good as new..

    are you sure it is cracked??? i thought mine was cracked , but when i took it off, i found that it has an overflow from the box ,thats what i think is wrong with yours, if your not sure and going to take it off eny way ,run the hose throught it and you will see water comeing out where the box is , and then clean it out with hose take off box emty it out of water then refill with coolant to the right spot on the dipstick

    Yes I'd be inclined to use plasti weld or fibreglass to repair it, especially if it's in an inconspicuous place.
