Removing and fitting VT front quarter panel

I've bought a new front driver's side front quarter panel to replace my current one (was involved in a head on crash, currently replacing everything). Anyway, never removed the guard before, had a search couldn't find anything too informative or helpful. Any one able to inform me as to what's the best way to do it, where the bolts / screws are, how long it'd take and also, how easy is it to fit my new guard and will it need to be aligned, or is it as simple as bolting it on. Any help is very much appreciated, cheers.

I have never had a VT guard off, but I was told that when you are fitting the replacemant one, screw a couple of bolts in to hold it in place, and then screw in all the hard to get at bolts, leaving the easiest to get to till last. Dont tighten them up till you get them all started.
