VY SS 18" rims on a VX

Hello I apologise if this has been asked before but I am looking to put some SS VY 18" rims/wheels on my VX sedan and I'm just wondering if it is as simple as putting the rims on without any modifications... I guess I'm looking at lowering at some point but is it safe and simple to just swap the wheels with my stock ones and driving off?

I put a set on my 97 VT ss with no problems

Yes, it'll be fine. It'll sit a bit higher because of the increased diametre but won't cause any problems.
