    Default How Much Did U Pay to get Camber Kit Installed ?

    Hi guys,

    just wondering how much did you guys pay to get the rear camber kit fitted into the VT ? i'm getting the kit soon. how $450 (just the labour) sound ?

    im guessing that would be the 4 point camber kit? a couple of people have told me that this can stuff up the diff, is this true? Otherwise ive been quoted about 450ish for the 2 point camber kit installed.

    supply fitted and wheel balance from pedders, my mechanic mate says he'd do the same for 300

    Pedders, 4 point kit quoted me 580.

    I figure stuff it, ill find a VY IRS and tailshaft on eBay instead.

    That's the smartest thing I have heard posted in a camber thread. It is about the same amount of work to do a rear end conversion as it is to do a 4 point caber kit lol.

    There's no substitute for better engineering from the outset.

    i did it to my VT i got a VY complete rear end and put it in m,y car best thing i ever did ,i too did the camber thing but it does not fix the problem,there is a post i have put on here with pictures have a look at the VY irs in my VT..

    Really its just working out if its easier to find all the stuff myself and send it to the mechanic to do it, or to see if he can find everything from the offset to do.

    $223 for a 4 point camber kit, supplied and fitted for me

    But I also got my exhaust and springs done at the same time, so I don't know if he discounted labour or something.

    I got my 4 point supplied , fitted and wheel alignment done for $350

    Sound good mate, where did you get it done? suspension shop? or your local mechanic?
