HELP PLEASE!!!! Engine Problems

hey, today i was driving back from brissy to gold coast, and got to about nerang (bout 70km from brissy) and when i tried to accellerate, it shakes the whole car, as if i need a wheel balancing sort of shake, but when i dont accellerate, it just runs smooth as. its almost like its running rich, or im thinking maybe spark plugs? just seems gutless, really rough when accellerating, and there is kinda a fuel smell when i had a look at it. i have to drive back to brissy tomoz so help asap would be great. cheers

sounds like its misfiring

check leads and plugs for condition

It does sound like the spark plugs, try that first.

even check your coil packs too, happened to me aswell

having the same problems now running rough as and slight smell of petrol in ls1
changed plugs and leads checked sparks is all good
going to change fuel filter and get noid light to see if im getting pulse to injectors can anyone think of anything else
any help greatly appreciated

Spark plug leads would be the first thing to try replacing because it seems to be the most common cause for shuddering under excelleration. It could be spark plugs or a coil pack also.

hey i replaced the spark plugs and leads today, and still the same problem. took it to auto tune and they seem to think that the injectors need to be serviced. i was hopping it wasnt gonna be somethin too expensive
