hey guys just looking to get my 2000 vx lowered and i was planing to get lows on the front and super lows in the back, but i keep getting mixed stories from people, can anyone tell me if super lows are something you can get yellow stickered for?? and what is actually legal?
Hey buddy,
It really depends on what size rims ur car is riding on! Mine has SL's on the front and SSL's on the rear, with 19" rims and I haven't had any probs yet.
Cheers, Mig.

the legal height is 100mm of ground clearance and u must obtain 2/3 of the original suspension travel, no ifs no buts, no coke can measurements.
Generally superlows all round will keep you legal, but that will depend on what u keep in the boot, audio equipement, etc.
u thinking of doin it urself or taking it to a pro to do?
yeah looking to get it proffessionally done
it currently has 18s on it but will be putting 20s on it very soon.
all i really want is to have the rubber sit even with the fender on the back and front...
got any suggestions?
and yes there is a sub in the boot but only a small one so not very heavy at all
20's + superlows all round will still look good, and will give you the rear guard tucking slightest bit of tyre, plus you'll still get a nice comfortable ride.
my mate was told by a cop the other day that the lowest part of the bottom of the car had to be 100mm off the ground.
100mm ground clearance at lowest point, 2/3 original suspension travel retained. Thats the general rules.
Also as a general rule, 20's are not legal on VT-VZ because most 20inch tyres do now have the correct Load and Speed ratings.
Hope this helps
