Hey ive just converted a l67 into my wagon.. still using the ecotec fuel system. just wanting to know could this be causing a major drop in power after 4000 revs. i picks up great and boost even feels better but when i hits 4000 its starts loosing power and the gear change feels far away then it finally changes gear. it used to be misfiring at high revs to but i fixed that with some new sparkies. Its just a l67 running 8psi with yella terra split ratio rockers (1.9, 1.95). with a set of pacies.
also anyone know how to fix a squeeky supercharger pulley? only does it when its cold.
probably lack of fule the L67 has a higher flow pump
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

Lack of fuel
they wont ping because of the knock sensors they retard the timing right back and you loose alot of power
try some beltgrip of the drive belt or tighten
did you change the belt size to suit the smaller pulley? the standard belt is too long and the tensioner doesnt work as it should
na same stock pully with same belt.. just runnin the 5% over driven balancer which makes 2psi more boost. Im getting it tuned soon with a uni chip installed. looking at a bosch 044 fuel pump 2
the standard super6 pumps are decent for your application... id be changing to a smaller belt still cos if its slipping, the tensioner isnt putting enough tension on the belt
bt is not running the super 6 fuel system its still runnin the ecotec 1
a super6 pump is only $230 and doesnt need to any mod's to fit it in there, the bosch ones need some messing round to fit properly
if you are going to get it tuned do it properly forget the unichip piggyback

im runnin the 36lb injectors
