vt monaro

Iv got a vt commy and just wonderin if a monaro bonnet will bolt straight on me vt

Straight bolt up. Only issue may be of your car is a Gen3 and has an OTR intake. They don't clear the Monaro bonnet

yeah I'm pretty sure there the same size and shape.

Question guys (dont wanna hijack or start a new thread...)

When replacing your bonnet, is there a proper way to remove and reinstall the bonnet catch? You know the one youve gotta reach under the bonnet and pop in order to open the hood?

Looks like a thin pipe holding the catch on thats been crimped on one side. I was thinkin id just file it down to remove it, but then howd i get it back on?!?!

yes all you have to change is the spring tentioner and the latch and depending on quality of bonnet should be exacly right coz ive got 1 on mine too
