hey the other day the car started whisteling at about 2000 revs anybody tell me why nd if its serious?
oh and sorry if its already been done i searched and got nothing related
Maybe a bearing on the idler pulley or altanator?
Get a 2' length of wood(broom handle is good) ,with engine running place dowel on the front bolt of pulley, push hard, then place your ear over other end of dowel. The noise will be transfererd up the timber.
sorry if i dont know much bout commodores only just got into them, but would this also cause the car to take a while to start?
i have also been told the coil packs are on their way out.
does it go away as the revs go up?
