vx calais fuel info
Thinking about buying a vx calais just wondering what they go like on the fuel on the 5.7 litres/supercharged 6 and the v6's.

i got a v6 auto on factory holden gas and im getting about 14/100km.
it may seem high but gas is run richer then petrol so it drinks more, but the compromise is made when it cost 50c a Liter n only costing me $30ish a week.
it also comes down to your driving style... that said, i am a p plater

this is a guess.. V6 N/A 9/100km, V6 supercharged 11/100km, V8 14/100km.. but it truly depends on how aggressive your right foot is, and if you drive in the city or country/highway..

Actually super6 will be same as if not better than the N/A V6, same revs more torque, less power needed. But yes it does come down to how you drive.Originally Posted by nick3110
