Tow bar question on a vt!

ok peoples i bought a haymen reece tobar for my car i have a vt 2000 acclaim and was wondering this tow bar i got is the ones where it comes out of rear bumper it doesnt come out from under the bumper well the tonge my bumper does not have any hole or cap on it like the vx bumpers do, is it possible to cut the square out where tonge comes out or i will need a new bumper like from a calais etc? i like the look better when it comes out of bumper rather then the uggly goose neck the comes from under bar!

Thats all they do. Cut a hole out of the bumper.

Theres a piece that slots into the hole to neaten it all up and a cap that goes into it.

When they fitted it thats how they did it looks good hey? just ring around and ask how they do it i guess..

There are dotted lines behind the bumper to follow for the cut....

Hayman Reese used to supply a section of pinch mould that you put round the hole to make it look neater...... Have a look inside the fit kit...
