I own a VT series 2

i wanna swap the auto out with a manual, i know the T-5 should fit, but what mods do i have to do to get everything working? besides computar, installing a clutch pedal...? my mates keep telling me it won't line up and all cause the factory V6 has a diffrent bottom end to the facotry V6, are they pulling my leg or wha?
