    Default power mods?

hey guys, ive decided to start plowing some money into my vt's engine.

i was wandering if anyone had any info on the best "price for power mods" and general infor about how much kw the item will add to my vt?

im looking at starting off small, then working way up, some prices wouldbe great if you knew them too. cheers.

keep in mind, i want nothing obvious, no v8, turbo, or supercharger...untill i get off these gay red p's... lols

thanks for your time guys. cheers.

use the SSBB method, suck, squeeze, bang, blow. These are the four strokes of an engine.
Suck is intake - CAI and good quality air filter, thats about it w/o forced induction
Squeeze is Compression - Head work, shaving and porting
Bang is Power stroke - Increase fuel intake and air intake will result in a bigger explosion
Blow is exhaust - get a good set of headers and exhaust to match the engine.

Start with basics and see what packages are on offer. If you just want the car to accelerate quicker, go shorter diff ratio, auto work, hi-stall and cam. Couldn't tell you about prices as labour varies a lot from one place to another.

true, but i want some work for this six, once i get off p's ill grab a v8 clubby then work that, and keep vt as my daily lols.

i currently have a redback black full exhaust, nothing else at all for proformance, as i have only had the vt one week lols.

Hey mate can i offer some serious advise.
Dont waste your money on it if you plan to get an 8 when off your p's.
The only thing i would recomend getting would be an exhaust and maybe CAI. Im guessing youl want it to be heard when your driving, im not having a go i like it too lol. I say this cause honestly your not gona notice any more power from having the exhaust. You may gain a few killowatts but you wouldnt even notice.
You maybe reading into stuff like roller rockers, air filters, head work, CAI, tunes, maybe TB and various other stuff youve seen on here ut when you add the price to get all this done you could buy a v8.
So just have a think about if you saved it so that when you sellk your 6 and buy an 8 how much money youl have in your pocket.
And look man im not having a go at anyone who has done stuff to their six but this is just my opinion and have just put this here to just put it into perspective.

look same as any six drive that ask's a piston bore but that cost a lot less you do it your self. but just for a daily i'd go with vt_s exhaust and a cai and leave it at that
