Rims And Body Kit

I wanna put rims on my car but idk what size would look good and wat type and colour

also later on wanting to put on a body kit should i have spoiler or should i not

im open minded 2 any answers

VX SS rims always look good on any previous Commodore. At 17" they don't look small yet the tyres are still reasonably priced.

As for the body kit, I wouldn't do it. Take the mud flaps off and remove the black side protective strips (there's a tutorial on JC on how to do it), then lower it a bit and it will look great. I myself fitted an S/SS kit and wish I'd just done the above. Far more unique, classy and modern looking.

But if you have to I wouldn't do anything other than the S/SS lips & spoiler.

mm mate, id just get some cheap 18" from ebay, slap some good tyres on them, id go for chrome or gold rims, i think my rims would look good on there (18" venom anz gold rims). as for kits, i usually wouldnt go for one myself but if you want one, id always go clubby kit, with the clubby spoiler. i think theyre nice.

hey, nice stock car you got there. The above posts sound pretty good, but you can also go with maybe berlina or calais rims which look good, ss always look good as well as was mentioned. As for a body kit, for the cost maybe not worth it, but i reckon if you like it and want one, go manta kit, since they are way more unique compared to the common clubby kits on a vt, manta also suits a white vt

Here is a couple of my VT's which give you a bit more variety to look at, compare or consider.
17 inch Advanti Vienna plus Tyres cost me approx $1200 in Jan 09 they were a big improvement from standard wheels I thought.

Get a VX SS kit. Or just the VX SS front bar. Its easily the best looking one out there, tough but it looks neat as well. Its not ridiculous like most of the others.



As for rims, get some nice gunmetal grey, or black machine with a bit of chrome, or just black rims with 5 spokes.

VX clubsport rims always look good... and id keep to either the stock look (take the mudflaps etc off like mentioned before) or do an S/SS... anything other than that (clubsport etc) on execs just look tacky (imo).
