Default temp gauge not working after belt replacement

    Guys
Yesterday I replaced the belt and plugs on my vt 6cylinder and since then my temp gauge isn't working.
What have i done. I had a bit of a look around and everything seems to be ok, but i have probably missed something
The black wire connector on the thermostat seems ok and connected, are there any other wires that I may have disconnected??

You might have knocked the temp sender off the thermostat housing.

EDIT- I didn't read your post properly, you already stated that you checked that. Duh.
