    Default wierd board?

    hey, not sure if this is posted yet, because i dont know what to search, but i was checking my tweeters, so i took off both tweeter covers off, and there is this little computer board right in the middle of the front windscreen down the bottom.

    my question is, what the hell is it lol?

    That's also where the sun sensor is installed (used by climate control)

    Its also the sensor for your auto headlights (i think spacs have not 100%)

    But yes it is needed. Best to leave it with a matt finish without covering it in armorall as you will get less range from your remote.

    Edit: Danja beat me to it lol. not sure if spacs have that feature though or if its just ss and calais

    lol thanks, finally puts my head at rest haha. hey just want to know your oppinions on exhausts and stuff. first off, does an exhaust tip do anything except look pretty? like i think of an exhaust like a trumpet, it the trumpet had a straight end, it wouldnt sound the same? and second, whats better sound, front muffler straight out, or front muffler with hotdog at the end. i have a 2 1/2 inch sports exhaust and wanna know what a hot dog sounds like

    I have a theory that all models get the same part installed, a photoresistor would cost sweet **** all to include in the board, and it's probably overall cheaper to manufacture just one part - models that don't use it probably just don't have it wired up to anything.

    I have a feeling Danja is dead on the money there.

    Even the wiring loom and main harness is the same throughout the range, just not connected. Or it might be connected but the BCM modules different.

    Just like fog lights.. the loom and connections are there but the switch & lights arent.
