Help please

hi all,

Well yesterday i drove my car for a hour didnt have no problems start first go and drove perfect. i got home and went to go back out again and the car started but had rough idle and just didnt start, now it wont kick over now? i pulled one end of the fuel filter off and there is no petrol going through so i am thinking its the pump? can anyone help me?

can u hear fuel pump priming at all??? also did u fill ya car up with petrol before u got home!!! check to c if any pipes in engine bay havent com off 2!!!!

yeah i cant hear the fuel pump at all, so i reakon thats what it is...

yea sounds like the prob!!! hence why theres no fuel flowing though there?? has it been a bit funny to start and drive lately?????

nope ran perfect then went to start it again half hour later and just wouldnt start bit weird i would say!

check you fuses before u startt spending money on fuel pumps to test your theory.

also, possibly flat battery, cars do run like ass when the battery is screwed.

checked fuses all okay, its new battery aswel so its gonna have to be the pump.. rang sprint auto and they said $100 but another store told my dad that it depends on what model it is? its a 2001 vx berlina series 1..

you might want to check your fuel pump relay

Problem solved replaced fuel pump and works like brand new again cheers guys
