Air conditioner compressor swap

I need to swap my VT a/c compressor with a VS a/c compressor.Your proberley asking why would I be doing that.Well I actually Im using a VT commodore engine in my Nissan Navara but the VT A/c compressors pipe connections are on the wrong angle which is hitting the chassis rail.I looked at a VS compressors arrangement and the pipe connections are in a more favourable position.
I noticed that the mountings are somewhat different but wonder if I use the mounts from the VS that it might fit on my VT engine block or are the blocks different?
