(VT) the horn was going for no reason

can anyone answer my question?? i woke this morning to my dog barking and my car horn going off for no reason???? the garage and the car were locked,i unlocked the car and pushed on the horn and it stopped.(after waking the street,im sure they were impressed)(lol) has anyone else had this happen? is this an electrical problem? thanx for any info
